DoH expands training for overseas doctors

The Medical Training Initiative will provide up to 750 two-year placements for doctors from developing countries. Last year, 250 English-speaking doctors from developing countries, secured UK-based education.

Can medical school expansion revitalize physician training?

We are in the midst of a golden age of medical education, with schools expanding at an unprecedented level.

Practices should take on sexual health training

More dementia training for GPs

New postgraduate training opportunities will be provided to GPs as part of England’s national dementia strategy, Mr Hope told the Daily Mail.

Exercise training cuts cardiovascular risk by 15%

Previous studies looking at the benefits of exercise in HF patients have been inconclusive and have lacked safety data.

This latest study, called ACTION, involved 1,159 patients who were randomly assigned to exercise training and 1,172 patients who did not exercise but had moderate physical activity.
